Boarding and Day Care Requirements

For the health, safety and welfare of all of our guests and staff we require the following:

 

Dogs:

 

• Written proof of vaccinations for pet. Tags not accepted.

• Rabies: Once a year or as vet recommends

• DHPP (Distemper/Parvo): Once per year or as vet recommends** ​

• Bordetella (Canine Cough): Every six months.*

• For intra-nasal or injectable Bordetella vaccines they must be given at least three days before boarding. The oral Bordetella vaccine is good same day. 

• Written proof of alteration for Group Play

 

*We offer the Bronchi-Shield® ORAL vaccine for purchase to administer to your dog at check-in for $35.

** Some vets permit puppies to have a 3-4 year Distemper vaccination after their first round of vaccinations and other vets recommend a one year vaccination first, followed the next year by a 3-4 year distemper. Please discuss with your vet their recommendation. 

 

Cats:

• Written  proof of vaccinations. Tags not accepted

• Rabies: Once a year or as vet recommends

• FVRCP: (as vet recommends either yearly or every three years depending on age)

Please email your vaccination records to us at stay@ohanapetfrisco.com as soon as you make your reservation. 

 

For safety, without written proof for required vaccinations we will be unable to accept your pet.

If fleas or ticks are detected upon arrival, a flea bath (cost of Mahalo Makeover plus $20 for treated shampoo and a Capstar pill) will be required at pet owner's expense.
